Sale Foodhall is getting set to welcome A Few Scoops to Stanley Square in Sale town centre.

The boozy, artisan ice cream specialists have found their first permanent home at Sale Foodhall and will be opening 3rd February.

The team are looking forward to bringing their trademark boozy ice creams to the neighbourhood, as well as sundaes, sorbets and milkshakes.

And to celebrate their arrival, they will be giving away a free scoop of ice cream in a cone between 5-7pm on opening day.

A Few Scoops will be joining Sale Foodhall’s residents Basilico Pizza and What’s Your Beef Burgers creating the holy trinity of independent, artisan street food all in one 130 cover community hub.

They have built a large and loyal following touring Greater Manchester (and beyond) with their cocktail-inspired puds, all served out of their beloved baby pink tuk tuk (Jolene) and vintage bike (Dolly).

At Sale, the Few Scoops team will be serving up a beautiful blend of boozy and non-boozy ice creams.

The brand’s classic cocktail flavours like Espresso Martini, Pina Colada and Mojito (in locally made cones by Antonelli Brothers in Eccles) will all be served up alongside some brand new creations especially for Sale.

This will include a dreamy sundae menu (where their homemade made ice cream meets warm brownies, sugar waffles and cookies) and a new milkshake collection.

Boozy ice cream shakes will also be cocktail inspired with White Russian and Cherry Bourbon flavours already in development; these will sit alongside a range of alcohol-free ice cream milkshakes, too.

Both the boozy and alcohol-free products will be available as vegan, and 500ml tubs will be available to take-away (also delivered to your door via Uber Eats).

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome A Few Scoops to our Foodhall community,” said Maisie Chow, Foodhalls.

“We have been looking for the right person to complete our wonderful independent street food family over here in Sale and the innovative, local and independent spirit of what Alanna and her team do fit perfectly with us.

“Get ready for some seriously good ice cream Sale!’”

“We’re delighted to be joining the Foodhall family and to bring our scoops over to Sale,” said Alanna, founder of A Few Scoops.

“Both Foodhalls and the General Stores have been so supportive of A Few Scoops since we launched in May last year, and we can’t wait to call Sale Foodhall our home!”

A Few Scoops will be opening 3rd February, and giving away free scoops between 5pm – 7pm. Opening hours will be Sunday – Thursday 12pm – 9pm, and Friday and Saturday 12pm – 10pm. On Saturday 5th February to celebrate Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, the A Few Scoops team will be serving up breakfast ice cream from 9am.
