Bloom Café Manchester opened at the end of last year, serving hand crafted CBD drinks and cakes.

Now, the Deansgate café is launching an all-day brunch menu that also caters for the many vegans and vegetarians in Manchester.

We went to try it out and see just how great this “Blooming good breakfast” really is.

The delicious breakfast and brunch favourites on the menu include eggs Benedict, which is made with Bloom’s own signature hollandaise sauce; “The Blooming good breakfast”, which is your classic full English with a few extras; and not forgetting “The Blooming Vegan”, which we really wanted to try out.

This dish contains two vegan sausages, smoky carrot bacon rashers, tomato, garlic mushrooms, beans and toast.

You may feel sceptical about ‘smoky carrot bacon’, however it was incredibly tasty and a brilliant initiative from Bloom’s chef. Something we 100% want to try again.

If you’re looking to get breakfast or lunch on the go, Bloom is in a perfect location within the hustle and bustle of the city.

It also has a spacious upstairs seating area which seats up to 50 overlooking Deansgate, perfect for work team lunches as it’s equipped with all the plug sockets and fast wifi you need. A great place to chat and feel relaxed.

We always need a coffee with a good hearty breakfast, and Bloom Cafe can add in a CBD Emporium Coffee shot drop to your choice of coffee for an additional boost to your day, which we were really impressed by.

We tried out a regular flat white coffee with a drop of the CBD. Highly recommend. The CBD drops are all organic whole-plant based oils containing no THC and will not get you high – and are, of course, legal to use in the UK.

Now, we couldn’t leave without having a sugary treat could we? Along with Bloom Café’s new menu, they offer a wide selection of delicious artisan cakes including vegan options for dessert, and these include loaf cakes by Manchester’s lockdown baker Manchester Loaf.

We tried the super tasty Biscoff brownie, which is also vegan, and it definitely hit the spot. Only problem is, we went straight back for another one… Slightly addictive.

The Bloom Café team, along with the owner Tim, were incredibly accommodating with all dietary requirements – if you have any questions just ask them and they will happily help.

We have found a new favourite breakfast spot in the city, for sure.
