Jimmy’s popular rock bar was founded in 2016 by One Night Only bandmates and brothers George and Jimmy Craig.
Originally in the Northern Quarter, the venue amassed a cult following as well as becoming known as a great place to watch underground artists and up and coming local bands.
And now, Jimmy’s is back, with a new venue set in the historic heart of Ancoats which opens next weekend.
With original details taken from their Northern Quarter site, the new venue will open on Friday 13th August.
The beautiful red-brick building on the corner of Blossom Street on Cutting Room Square will be the go-to place for an authentic rock ‘n’ roll musical atmosphere in Manchester.
The new opening is set over two floors, with the addition of outdoor space for dining and drinking.
Following the Friday night launch, Jimmy’s in Ancoats will be open from 10am on Saturday 14th August for ‘Jimmy’s Famous Bottomless Brunch’, which is served right up until 3pm to deal with all those hangovers.
That will be followed on the Saturday by their ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll BBQ’, which is served from 5pm until late.
The BBQ menu will then be available Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm – 9.30pm, with all the favourites including burgers, smoked brisket, wings, buttermilk chicken and loaded fries.
Then from Sunday 15th August, they’ll be starting the day in style, serving a full Sunday roast menu from midday until 6pm.
“We’re not tight on the gravy! Drinks served ’til late!” they say.
Drinks will include the full range of Jimmy’s Beers, cocktails and all the favourite branded bottled beers and spirits.
Drinks tables operate on a walk-in only, first come first served basis, while food bookings are essential.
Jimmy’s, on the corner of Blossom Street on Cutting Room Square in Ancoats, will open on Friday 13th August from 8pm.
