Best of Manchester beer showcased in charity Advent Calendar

This festive season you can enjoy a whole range of 24 beers boasting the best breweries across Manchester with the Manchester Craft Beer Advent Box collection.

And what’s more, with every sale of the advent box, £2 will be donated to Lifeshare, the Manchester Charity who have been supporting vulnerable people across Greater Manchester for 35 years.

Lifeshare said they were ‘touched by the support’.

They said: “Lifeshare is the oldest homelessness charity in Manchester and the support of Mancunion businesses has helped us to deliver support for those in crisis for close to 40 years.

“To see local breweries coming together with Hometown Beer to produce this calendar and give something back to the people in their community who need a helping hand is really touching.

“As the weather turns we will have more people needing our support, so all funds raised will help us provide freshly cooked food, hot showers, and dry clothes which will really make a difference in people’s lives!”

Some of the breweries included in the advent calendar are: Sureshot, Track, Cloudwater, Wander Beyond, Alphabet, Beer Union, Marble, 7 Brothers, Pomona Island, Shindigger, Blackjack, First Chop and Squark.

The calendar will work in the traditional way, just bigger, behind each door will be a different Manchester craft beer classic plus new releases and seasonal specials.

For the lagers lovers, there is an edition of the box comprising of a rich selection of 24 craft lagers from across the city.

The advent box features a painting from cityscape illustrator Susie Wright, featuring the iconic Manchester skyline and other city landmarks we all know and love.
