Hits Radio Cash for Kids have a mission to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our local community who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or have additional needs.

Last year the charity raised an incredible £19.2 million across the year and was able to support 396,639 children across the UK – with 2893 children helped in Greater Manchester thanks to kind donations from local people in the region.

And next month, the Hits Radio Cash for Kids Sports Challenge is back, helping local grassroots sports groups the chance to not only raise vital funds for their club but also win additional cash prizes.

Your sports group will have four weeks to fundraise as much as you can through activities of your choice.

And Hits Radio Cash for Kids will grant 100% back to your group to help with new kit, equipment, facilities, and more.

The top three sports groups who raise the most money during the four-week challenge will not only receive 100% of their fundraising total, but will also receive additional cash prizes.

First place will receive an extra £5000 boost, second place will receive an extra £2000, and third place will receive an extra £1000.

If that wasn’t enough, there will also be five additional awards of £100 granted to those who can demonstrate the following: best social media interaction, best PR exposure, best creative fundraising idea, best teamwork and best local business engagement.

So, what are you waiting for?

Applications are now open, and will close on Sunday 12th September.

Chosen groups will be contacted during the week commencing 13th September, and will need to be available for an online briefing on Thursday 16th September.

To get involved, just get in touch with the Hits Radio Cash for Kids team on [email protected] or call them on 0161 266 7732.
