The core elements of the approved Victoria Warehouse Hotel scheme remain intact, focusing on upgrading the existing hotel in the eastern warehouse to a 200-bedroom facility with a rooftop bar extension.

Additionally, a seven-storey multi-storey car park with 183 spaces is set to complement the revamped hotel offerings.

Strategic Shifts in Functionality

A notable change in the proposal is the transformation of the western warehouse’s second and third storeys, originally designated for office space, into a corporate events space with a capacity for 2,000 guests.

This shift aims to adapt to evolving demands and maximize the site’s potential.

Architectural Enhancements of the Victoria Warehouse Hotel

The updated plans for the Victoria Warehouse Hotel introduce a contemporary touch with a timber and glass structure at the roof level of the western warehouse, replacing the initially proposed running track and clubhouse.

This architectural evolution reflects a commitment to modernity and innovation.

Strategic Location near Old Trafford

Situated in proximity to Manchester United FC’s Old Trafford football ground, Victoria Warehouse commands attention with its strategic location.

Bounded by the Bridgewater Canal, Trafford Wharf Road, and Trafford Road, it stands as a high-profile site, promising a dynamic and accessible environment.

Key Features of the Approved Plans

The comprehensive plans include a new roof for the central arena building, accommodating concerts for up to 5,400 people.

The site, with an existing outline consent for 775 hotel bedrooms, emphasizes the need for improved hotel provisions, addressing the growing demand from esteemed clients like KPMG, Barclays, Jaguar Land Rover, and the European Development Fund.

The plans have received validation from Trafford Council, marked by the planning reference 110695/FUL/23.

This endorsement sets the stage for a transformative journey, bringing a new era of corporate excellence to Victoria Warehouse.
