The government Eat Out to Help Out scheme has been a huge success, with a number of restaurateurs calling for it to be extended into September.

Pulling people into restaurants at what would typically be their quietest times, it’s succeeded where many marketeers previously failed. Diners, it seems, now want a quiet space – not a bustling one.

The secret ingredient, of course, is COVID – but we’d rather focus on supporting our local independents (and the free food, of course).

Although the Treasury has announced it won’t be extending its support for the scheme, quite a few places in Manchester have decided to carry on off their own backs.

A great way to thank customers for their support, and keep pulling them in mid-week, keep reading to discover the best Eat Out to Help Out-style savings available around the city this month.
