The matrimonial licence comes in time to celebrate the Manchester Pride Festival, where this year’s theme is Queerly Beloved to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of marriage equality in the UK.
Any couple who loves what it stands for will soon be able to say “I do” amongst their favourite vinyl and vintage finds or in front of some of the venue’s most iconic spots.
Get Married at Afflecks Palace
The wedding licence will allow you to perform small, intimate and inclusive ceremonies for any couple who wants to have a truly unique wedding right in the heart of one of the city’s cultural institutions.
Afflecks intends to welcome a whole rainbow of love in all its glorious forms and will initially be making five spaces available for weddings.
Super romantic, small ceremonies with up to 30 guests will be the order of the day and all the spaces can be dressed and adapted for a perfectly unique and alternative place to declare true love.
