Independent Manchester bakery Gooey has earned itself a huge fanbase since setting up in March 2020 with its gorgeous selection desserts.

Then in 2021 following a successful delivery only service during lockdown, Gooey set up shop in the kiosk at the entrance of Ducie Street Warehouse.

After opening a store in the Northern Quarter in August. they are once again expanding operations to Selfridge’s Trafford Centre as they go from strength to strength.

Located on the first floor a few minutes walk from the food hall is a new 30 seater Christmas Cafe to satisfy all your Gooey cravings.

The Selfridges Christmas Cafe by Gooey will open in Selfridges Trafford from Tuesday 1 November all the way through until 4th January.

Diners will be able to enjoy a whole new selection of sweet treats exclusive to Selfridges including the Smore’s Cookie Pie, The Snowman Choux, Chocolate Orange Layered Cake and Gooey’s Christmas Millionaire Twist.

You can even pick up a boozy hot chocolate.

Shoppers can pop by and pick up a sweet treat, take home a box of goodies or enjoy a break from shopping in the café which will be open Monday – Sunday inline with Selfridges Christmas opening hours.

The Christmas Cafe by Gooey launches as part of Selfridges’ Christmas theme this year, Season’s Feastings, a celebration of the power of food to bring us together.

They are offering customers serving suggestions for setting up, dressing up, gift giving and merrymaking, as we come together with friends and family to enjoy cherished Christmas rituals.

Those looking for an extra sweet Christmas experience can join Gooey for Afternoon Tea with Santa every Thursday and Friday in December and Breakfast with Santa every Saturday and Sunday in December.
