Independent Manchester bakery Gooey has earned itself a huge fanbase since setting up in March 2020 with its outrageously Instagrammable desserts.
Then last summer, following a successful delivery only service during lockdown, Gooey set up shop in the kiosk at the entrance of Ducie Street Warehouse.
Fans can’t get enough of their decadent, NYC inspired cookies and donuts, which frequently sell out.
And now, Gooey has arrived at Hatch – the second Manchester kiosk for the Manchester-based sweet treat specialist.
Hunkered down under the city’s iconic Mancunian Way flyover, Hatch is home to some of the most exciting and creative independent businesses in the city.
Gooey’s Hatch shop is an outward facing unit with direct access from Oxford Road.
The brand’s famous cookies, donuts and soft serve ice-cream will be dished out from Wednesday to Sunday as takeaway, or to be enjoyed on site at Hatch.
Gooey joins Oh My Cheesecake and Biscuit and Brew creating a new holy trinity of treats at dessert destination, Hatch.
Fans can expect giant, handmade, New-York inspired cookies with ever changing flavours and fillings at the Hatch unit as well as fluffy brioche donuts and soft serve ice cream.
Gooey join other new traders, including MorMor’s Mediterranean, Ate Days a Week and Biscuit and Brew – as well as a brand new gender-neutral nail bar, and Hatch’s first lash and brow bar.
The venue will continue to operate its successful contactless operating system again with guests able to order from any of the street food traders on site with a tap of their mobile phone, and this time around Hatch is also taking table bookings.
Reservations are now open for tables of up to six guests, and there are also walk-ins available daily. In line with government guidance, Hatch is operating table service only for parties of up to six or two households.
Gooey is open 12pm-6pm every Wednesday – Sunday at Hatch, until sold out.
