Sundays can often be spent feeling lethargic from the excesses of Friday and Saturday or maybe feeling apprehensive about the start of another working week.
That’s why three enterprising Manchester women have joined forces to bring you an experience where you can move your body, feel energised by a live DJ and refresh your soul before the week ahead.
Shake Your Soul is a unique two hour workout featuring Yoga Flow by Madeleine Penfold, Feel Good Movement by Dr Jessicarr Moorhouse of TRIBE.MCR and live music from DJ aalice – three women who work independently in their chosen fields of medicine, fitness, yoga, photography and music who have come together through a love of movement and feel good vibes.
Entrepreneurs with innovation at heart, they seized the opportunity to bring something fresh and exciting to Manchester.
Guests will move their bodies to awesome beats, merging the boundaries of fitness, yoga and music and celebrating carefree movement, having fun and feeling good.
“The first event at YES was awesome,” says DJ aalice. “The energy in the room was indescribable and equals that of some of the more traditional parties I have DJ’d at.”
Dr Jessicarr says the introduction of a live DJ to the fitness/yoga scene is something unique in Manchester.
“TRIBE.MCR is about having fun and feeling good. What better way to do this than with a live DJ? My clients know I’m a huge dance music fan and I am delighted that Madeleine and aalice have come on board to host this event.
“The Pink Room at YES is the perfect venue for this event. Mostly used for club nights, this space is quite literally pink and has an awesome party vibe. By the end of the session, you could soon be forgiven for thinking you were in a club, rather than working out.”
“Movement and music are the things that gets us out of our heads and into our bodies,” says Madeleine. “It has been so beneficial in my own life, it’s amazing to be able to share this and encourage others to try
Sound good? The event takes place in the Pink Room at YES on Sunday, 30th June from 11am. But you’ll have to be quick because tickets are selling out fast.
