When the hustle and bustle of Market Street gets too much for you and you need some time to relax, turn the corner onto Oldham Street and you’ll find The Crafty Pig is there to greet you, offering big eats, craft beers and service with a smile.
Oldham Street has always been one of Manchester’s most popular locations, famous for its record shops, bars and vintage stores that have helped to make the city one of the country’s trendiest places to live.
Everyone is welcome at The Crafty Pig – whether you’re part of the after work crowd, a foodie tempted by the mouthwatering and ever-popular Peri Peri chicken, a group of friends on a night out or just going it solo, their doors are always open.
Settle into one of the huge booths or round one of the huge tables and enjoy some Piggin Tails, The Crafty Pig’s signature cocktail. Prosecco lovers flock through the doors to enjoy Fizzy Fridays, when prosecco is half price all day. Happy Hour takes place every day from 4pm til 8pm
Prepare to be amazed when they serve up wave upon wave of delicious burgers, steaks, pub favourites like fish and chips or an array of tempting tapas-style starter dishes.
If you’re one of those people who just can’t go a minute without checking your phone until the battery has run flat, fear not because The Crafty Pig has it covered. All their booths come with a handy charging point complete with USB connections.
As well as great service and a friendly atmosphere, there are some great events to keep you entertained. Resident DJ Johnny 7”s fires up the decks every Friday dishing out tune after tune, while on there’s an unplugged vibe on Acoustic Mondays when Sam Haines invites anyone and everyone to step up, sing a song, tell a joke or perform a reading.
There’s an entire summer of sport ahead – the Rio Olympics, Euro 2016 and Wimbledon and you’re invited to come along and watch all the big events on their widescreen TV’s – and they’re sneaking in a sneaky refurb in July to cater for even more of you thirsty people.
