Sometimes, a food collaboration comes along that’s just too intriguing to miss.

The recent fusion burger from Almost Famous and Mughli was one, with its spiced tandoori chicken and butter chicken sauce on a juicy double cheeseburger.

And now Crazy Pedro’s have just created another.

The late night pizza parlour has teamed up with Northern Quarter neighbours Tokyo Ramen for their October special: ‘Send Noodz’.

The result of some playful Instagram comments, Pedro’s first collaboration has been tweaked and perfected over the past few months with the guys from Tokyo Ramen, Danny Collins and Ben Humphreys, marrying the flavours of traditional Japanese ramen and everyone’s favourite pizza.

Send Noodz’ combines a Tan Tan spicy sauce on Pedro’s tomato base. The pizza is topped with chicken coated in chicken salt (using Tokyo Ramen‘s top secret recipe), deep fried ramen noodles, a sprinkle of spring onions and sweetcorn mayo, and finished off with Red Dragon sauce.

It’s available by the slice or as a whole 16-inch pizza for the month of October. It’s also available for the special lunchtime offer, where you can get two slices and a drink for £5 with a beer for an extra pound, available from 12pm to 3pm.

And while it’s their first collaboration, it’s not the first time Crazy Pedro’s have combined our favourite dishes on a pizza.

Last autumn everyone was talking about their ‘Chippy Tea‘ pizza which was topped with chips, succulent sausage and curry sauce on a vivid green mushy pea base.

Their ‘Dirty Northerner’ hit the headlines in 2016 with its outrageous chips, cheese and gravy topping, while the ‘Off Ya Noodle’ was the talk of Manchester thanks to its Pot Noodle topping.

And ‘Dreggs’, which took inspiration from the high street bakery, was a concoction of sausage rolls, mozzarella, baked beans and brown sauce.

‘Send Noodz’ is available at Crazy Pedro’s during October.
