Manchester Arndale Santa

It’s time for the younger members of the family to get writing those all important letters to Santa complete with their Christmas gift wishes.

Because Santa is already gearing up for a busy old festive period with a number of grotto appearances across Manchester.

His Scandinavian-themed grotto at the Manchester Arndale shopping centre is always one of the most popular destinations for families – and bosses have just confirmed that booking for Santa’s Grotto is now OPEN.

Children will be welcomed in to the Arndale grotto by the Wish Keeper before walking through the snow-covered garden where the Wish Elves will help them deliver their Christmas wishes into the snowflake wishing well.

It’s then on to meet the big guy himself in Santa’s log cabin.

Manchester Arndale Santa's grotto

Santa’s Grotto will once again be located on the Arndale Upper Mall near Argos, and will be open for visits from Thursday, November 21st until Monday, December 24th.

Tickets are available for just £5.50 (plus booking fee), which includes a special gift to take home, and you can choose an arrival time of either morning, afternoon or evening,  depending on your chosen date.

One of Santa’s elves will be on hand to take a lovely professional photo of your visit inside Santa’s Grotto.

After checking you’re happy with it, you can purchase the photo in a range of mementos, including photo frames, glitter frames, baubles and snow globes, with prices ranging from £6 for an individual print to £12 to £22 for photo bundles.

Guests should note that use of personal cameras or phones is not permitted inside Santa’s Grotto at Manchester Arndale – however families are free to snap away outside in the garden.
