Legendary artist Richard Ashcroft is set to make a triumphant return to his hometown of Wigan, gracing the stage at the Robin Park Arena for the first time since 1998.

Richard Ashcroft Comes Home

The highly-anticipated homecoming tour is scheduled for the summer of the upcoming year, with the performance taking place on Saturday, 20 July.

Having been away for over 25 years, Richard Ashcroft, celebrated as a musician, singer, and songwriter, is eager to reconnect with his roots in Wigan.

The Verve

The lead vocalist and occasional rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band The Verve, Ashcroft’s return promises to be a momentous event for Wigan and Greater Manchester.

The Verve, formed in Wigan in 1990, achieved monumental success with Richard Ashcroft at the helm as lead vocalist.
