Whether you’re into classic crepes or fluffy loaded stacks, Manchester is full of great places to indulge in pancakes.

And as well as having some great restaurants serving them up year-round, there are also lots of venues doing specials for Pancake Day this year, too.

Here are some to get flippin’ excited about.

Home Sweet Home

NQ brunch favourites Home Sweet Home are known for their epic American pancakes, and this year they’re doing something very special.

The ‘cherry pie dream’ stack consists of three fluffy pancakes topped with cherry pie filling, Biscoff cream, maple syrup and lotus pie crumb.

Or how about ‘all the cookies in the world’, with homemade Oreo cream and crumb, teeny tiny cookies and caramel sauce?

Ducie Street Warehouse

Fresh off their brand-new all-day brunch menu, Ducie Street Warehouse’s restaurant and lounge will offer half price pancakes all day, so you can enjoy their delicious homemade pancake stack with maple syrup, blueberries, crushed pecans and lemon zest from 7.30am until 9pm.

Fancy something more indulgent? Try their light pancakes served with sweet white chocolate, raspberries and coconut gelato, or a warm pancake stack, Belgian chocolate, fresh strawberries and a side of Stracciatella gelato.

Or there’s the new Lotus Stack – delicious, buttery pancakes served with smooth Biscoff sauce and Lotus biscuit, topped with caramelised hazelnuts and Madagascan vanilla gelato – injected with a Lotus filled syringe for a little extra theatre.

The Botanist

Offering a sweet twist on its trademark savoury hanging kebab, the cocktail bar has created three mouth-watering combinations to satisfy all your crepe cravings, with miniature pancakes hung from skewers with a choice of different toppings.

Diners can opt for chocolate brownie chunks and a hot chocolate sauce, or marshmallows and strawberries with a lemon drizzle.

Each one is served with a pot of sauce made specially to drizzle down the kebab and priced at £6.95.

They’re available at all The Botanist’s branches, including Deansgate, MediaCityUK, Didsbury, Alderley Edge and Knutsford until Wednesday 2nd March.
