Exclsve Bar & Restaurant to open on Bridge Street

Manchester city centre’s dining scene continues to grow with multiple new eateries opening their doors in the upcoming months.

Exclsve bar & eatery is just one of the latest restaurants set to feed hungry diners in the city centre in September and hopes to capitalise on the Spinningfields and Deansgate crowd.

The restaurant and bar promises to be ‘a new luxurious and intimate space’ as it takes over former beauty salon The Dolls House on Bridge Street.

This latest newcomer to the Manchester food and drink scene joins recent openings including Jimmy’s in Ancoats, Meatless Farm in Trafford and sustainable cafe Potion in Afflecks in the city centre.

The entrepreneurial pair behind the new restaurant are co-owners Jordan Green and Andrew Doyle. The pair already manage several successful businesses in Manchester including Exclusive Law Solicitors, Exclusive Health and Exclusive Hire Solutions.

They said: “Manchester has been good to us and we wanted to open a new venue in the city to complement the already amazing bar and restaurant scene. There are a host of excellent restaurants in Spinningfields and Deansgate and we see it is as the perfect location for our new venture”.

“We have brought together a fantastic team to create our extensive cocktail menu, designed to be enjoyed with our small plates, which have been created by Michelin Star trained chef Steve Midgley.

Items on the menu include 72-hour beef cheek bourguignons with Lancashire cheese mash, red mullet with a tomato and ginger salsa, and mushroom arancini with black truffle.

“We feel that we have managed to create a truly unique space that people can enjoy whatever the time of day or night.”

The venue also aims to support the local community by using a range of locally sourced products for all of their food and drink choices. This includes Mrs. Kirkham’s famous Lancashire cheese, Goosnargh duck from a family-owned business, and black pudding from the Real Black Pudding Company in Haslingden.

In addition, there will also be a selection of cocktails, champagnes and wines, along with ales provides by local brewers Strange Time Brewing and Manchester Union.

The venue has also sourced items including coffee from local retailers including Worker Bee coffee beans. By pairing with Worker Bee, Exclsve supports their mission to help the local community of Manchester with every cup of tea or coffee helping someone less fortunate in the city.

The drinks menu will feature local ales, as well as a selection of cocktails, champagnes and wines.

The pair also said: “The pandemic has not only reminded us just how important it is to socialise and maintain relationships but to also continue moving forward and to look to the future. We can’t wait to share our excitement with the people of Manchester with a unique relaxed bar and dining experience for our guests.

“We’ve built a series of successful businesses by creating an enjoyable working environment in which our staff can thrive. The hospitality industry, in general, has received a bad rep in recent years and we want to emulate our business culture within our latest venture.”

As well as their main dining and bar space, Exclsve will also feature a stylish private dining room that can be booked for parties of up to 12 people.

The new dining hotspot has been teasing keen diners already with sneak peeks via their Instagram, including showing of the stylish new interior alongside tasty looking dishes off their new menu.

To support their September launch date, they are offering eager diners the chance to win one of several £200 VIP packages for their grand opening. To be in with a chance of winning, sign up via their website, follow them on Instagram to be in with a chance of scooping a swanky opening deal.
