Clubs and live music venues may be closed right now – but Matt & Phred’s have been as busy as ever.

“Not one to face adversity by shrugging our shoulders and hoping for the best, we came up with a plan to help the musicians who are the life and soul of our little back street jazz club,” they said.

So over the past few weeks, the Tib Street club have been recording gigs in the club with music ranging from old school jazz, French chanson, 40’s swing, New Orleans Treme, blasting brass and 90s Madchester classics.

All that’s missing is the club’s audience.

But now, they have found a way to bring these gigs to you in the comfort of your own home, to watch as many times as you want, over and over again.

You can purchase tickets for individual gigs for just £7.95, with seven whole days to enjoy the show.

Or, if you fancy a gig a week right up until Christmas and then access to all  gigs from the 20th-30th December, they have an ‘Access All Areas’ ticket for  just £29.95.

The cost of the tickets go towards paying the bands, sound engineer and production team as well as a little bit on the side for the club, they say.

You can expect high end gigs you can stream directly onto your smart TV, watch from your laptop or iPad  or even your mobile phone.

“The music speaks for itself with each band offering something a little bit different from the week before,” say Matt & Phred’s.

“So if you like your music, love the club, are short on ideas for Christmas gifts, we’ve got you covered.

“Sit back and be entertained or push your sofa to the side and dance the night away in the knowledge your ticket has gone towards keeping musicians one step closer to getting back to where they belong, on the Matt & Phred’s tage.”
