Laughterama comedy festival kicks off this week with incredible line up

The second annual “Laughterama” comedy festival is set to unleash five nights of uproarious open-air entertainment in the heart of the city at Castlefield Bowl from September 6th to 10th, featuring a star-studded lineup that promises to keep the temperatures rising.

Laughterama’s Sizzling Summer Line Up

With a stellar cast of comedians, this year’s Laughterama boasts a red-hot roster of talent.

The festival kicks off with the unmissable “Best of BUG” with the one and only Adam Buxton.

Later that night, the stage will be graced by the comedic prowess of Ed Gamble, Fern Brady, Kyrah Gray, Maisie Adam, and John Robins in a late-night laughter bonanza.

Thursday night is no less scorching with Phil Wang, Tim Key, Ana Magliano, Amy Gledhill, and Ivo Graham taking the stage to keep the laughter rolling.

Friday evening brings Alan Davies and Rachel Parris to the spotlight, along with Celya Ab, Rhys James, and Jayde Adams, promising a side-splitting start to the weekend.

Saturday starts early, with Sara Pascoe, Nina Conti, Sharon Wanjohi, Troy Hawke, and Kiri Pritchard-McLean bringing sunshine to the stage in the mid-afternoon show.

As the sun sets, comedy legends Dylan Moran and Shappi Khorsandi take centre stage alongside Isy Suttie, Josh Pugh, and Josh Jones in a late-night celebration.

The festival reaches its peak on Sunday with the incomparable Russell Kane, Ardal O’Hanlon, Dan Tiernan, Sikisa, and Suzi Ruffell in the afternoon show.

The grand finale features David O’Doherty, Simon Amstell, Lou Sanders, Tadiwa Malunge, and Sarah Keyworth, ensuring a side-splitting close to this laughter-filled week.
