The actor will sing a host of songs from the global hit movies he has starred in, The Greatest Showman and Les Miserables, backed by a live orchestra.
The Australian star played circus owner PT Barnum in The Greatest Showman, which became a word-of-mouth hit despite a lukewarm response from the critics. It spawned a chart-topping soundtrack album, with songs including The Greatest Show and A Million Dreams.
He was nominated for an Oscar for his role as Jean Valjean in the big screen version of hit musical Les Miserables in 2012, and is also known for his role as Wolverine in The X Men series of movies.
He is expected to cause something of a stir when he opens the show at The Brits awards ceremony on Wednesday February 20th, and we really can’t wait.
