This St Patrick’s Day, Honest Burgers has teamed up with Guinness to launch a new special – the Guinness fondue burger.

Honest’s much-loved beef and bacon gravy is also getting a Guinness twist for March, with the beer giving an extra depth of flavour to the homemade gravy.

A whopping 52 pints of Guinness will go into every single batch.

To accompany the burger, for the very first time Guinness will also be poured in Honest’s Bridge Street restaurant in March to toast the feast of Saint Patrick.

Poured via the Guinness Microdraught, it will allow customers to enjoy a superb serve of the black stuff with a unique sense of theatre.

The special burger comprises the classic Honest beef patty, topped with candied bacon, Guinness fondue, the new Guinness beef and bacon gravy, crispy onions, rocket and pickles, served with Honest’s signature rosemary-salted chips.

It costs £14 in the Manchester restaurant, or £15 via Deliveroo.

“Our Paddy’s Day DIY burger kits were great last year and I’ve been counting down the days to my next Guinness burger,” said Adam Layton, Honest Burgers.

“Now that all of our restaurants are back open, we’re ready for round two.

“Guinness fondue is a brand new recipe and an indulgent end of winter treat.

“Homemade fondue and homemade gravy, all from scratch. This is what Honest does best.”

Whether you’re celebrating St Patrick’s Day or watching Guinness Six Nations fixtures, the limited edition burger will be available up until 28th March.

“It’s a pleasure to be collaborating with Honest Burgers once more following the collaboration to create the limited edition at Home kits last year,” said John Burns, head of Guinness GB.

“We’re pleased that customers can enjoy delicious food with Guinness whilst supporting the hospitality industry in reopened venues, with a brilliant opportunity for customers to try our Guinness Microdraught too.

“Whether you’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day or relishing with the rugby on, it’s set to be an exciting month.”

The Guinness fondue burger is priced at £14 (£15 via Deliveroo) and is available at Honest Burgers, Bridge Street from 1st-28th March.
