Manchester street foodsters Holy Crab have been kicking it with their fresh seafood wares all over the city since early 2016. The ladies behind the project, Lou and Hannah, started Holy Crab on a mission to bring great seafood – specifically crab and oysters – to the north west and have been busy popping plenty of people’s oyster cherries since.

Injecting a sense of fun and adventure into their food, catch them on one of their pop-up stands to see them shuck the oysters right in front of you for added effect.

No strangers to collaborations, the past few years have seen them popping up at foodie events like Grub and Indy Man Beer Con, take over the Kosmonaut basement and put together many a beer and seafood pairing with the likes of Runaway, ABC, Brasserie Trois Dames, Beermoth and more. Last year they even got together with Marble beer to create a Langoustine and Pineapple Gose (named ‘LanGOSEtine’) for Manchester Beer Week.

Their next event on the horizon is a whole crab take over at First Street’s newest addition, brought to you by the team behind Liar’s Club and Crazy Pedros, Americana drinking den Bunny Jacksons.
