German Doner Kebab opened its first restaurant in Berlin in 1989 and spent the next decade developing its products and recipes.
Following a flagship restaurant in Fallowfield this summer, GDK has now opened its doors in Manchester Oxford Road, bringing a new fast-casual dining experience to the city centre.
The new restaurant opened on 21st December, and is located at 14 Oxford Road, close to Oxford Road train station.
It has created in the region of 40 new jobs, bringing employment to the local area.
German Doner Kebab Manchester Oxford Road will offer a full dine-In experience, plus takeaway with click & collect and delivery will be available through GDK’s Delivery partners.
The brand says they are revolutionising the kebab in the UK, bringing a fresh, high-quality taste sensation that has made it the number one spot to enjoy a kebab.
Freshly prepared in front of customers, the game-changing kebabs are made using premium, lean, succulent meats and fresh local vegetables, served in handmade toasted breads with unique signature sauces.
To maintain quality and consistency, they use lean succulent meats imported directly from Germany, and the freshest locally produced vegetables that are delivered and prepared daily along with their handmade bread.
The new restaurant at Oxford Road is the brand’s second location in the city, and 84th GDK site in the UK overall as it continues to bring the GDK experience to more locations throughout the country.
The brand now has over 90 restaurants worldwide as it expands more locations across the globe.
