Dust off the dancing shoes and get ready to party as boutique festival Bohemian Disco launches in Cheshire, bringing the biggest names in house and disco to Tatton Park.
Set amongst the stunning backdrop of Tatton Park’s lake, Saturday 31st July 2021, will see a host of musical icons, both old and new, descend upon the leafy fields of Cheshire’s most prestigious park to perform at this outdoor extravaganza from 4 pm-11 pm.
With outdoor dancing now allowed, Bohemian Disco will be the perfect opportunity to gather your friends, get out of the house and party at Tatton Park like it’s 1999.
Created by renowned house DJ Jason Herd, this inaugural clubbing concept promises to be a masterful blend of Glitterbox, Coachella, Blue Marlin, and Studio 54, taking you on a nostalgic musical journey from soulful, funky house through to new-age disco.
Headlining the live performances will be the Queen of House Lisa Millett of Glitterbox fame, belting out hits such as Bad Habit and funky house classic Soul Heaven.
With a career that spans two decades working with the creme de la creme of dance, Lisa is undoubtedly one of the top vocalists and songwriters in house music today.
Alongside Lisa will be old school vocalist Steve Edwards who will transport party-goers back to their clubbing days performing classics such as World Hold On whilst dynamic duo 2Funky2 will be reviving melodic house tunes such as Brothers and Sisters.
Defected and Glitterbox vocalist Bryan Chambers guarantees to get feet moving with renditions of All I Do, a Stevie Wonder cover that became a massive club anthem, hitting Number 1 in every dance chart across the country.
Disco duo Geddes and Gioia, along with DJ Lee Crank, will nostalgically transfer the audience back to the days of Studio 54 with classic disco and house sets whilst platinum-selling DJ Anton Powers of Kisstory will up the tempo with a modern dance set, alongside Liverpool 54 DJ’s Dom Townsend and Tom Buck.
Finishing off the live performances will be a classically trained Saxophonist who guarantees to get the crowd rocking with a live set of house favourites.
Event orchestrator and DJ Jason Herd will be heading up the decks and spinning soulful, funky house tunes, including clubbing anthem I Just Can’t Get Enough, which smashed its way to Number 1 in the UK commercial dance charts.
A regular at top venues such as Pacha and renowned for heading up one of Manchester’s most successful, long-standing house nights 2Risque at Club North, Jason will be resurrecting the classics that everybody knows and loves.
“I’m so excited to launch Bohemian Disco at Tatton park festival, and hopefully, it will be the first of many,” said DJ and Event Orchestrator Jason Herd.
“I wanted to create a concept that is not about the headliners; it’s about the live performance and experience. After running 2Risque for so many years, I realised that the market and clients are still here, albeit slightly older.
“Whatever age you are, you still want to listen to good music and enjoy a good atmosphere, and that is what we are providing.
“Bohemian Disco will be a classy clubbing experience with table service, amazing music and good vibes!
“We’ve had a great response to this, and we are already working on a concept for NYE. “
Guaranteeing a high-end and stress-free experience, Bohemian Discoer’s will be treated to table service, leaving more time for grooving in private ‘dance squares’, fully equipped with deck chairs and parasols.
VIP ticket holders will have the added luxury of elegant VIP toilets and dance squares kitted out with premium furniture.
All drinks will be served in authentic glasses, ensuring the fizz stays chilled at this high-end experience that will take revellers back to the good old days of clubbing, but in style.
Bohemian Disco promises to be a revival party to remember with an eclectic mix of world-renowned acts coming together to celebrate the magic of live performance.
