The three-floored venture, called The Bohemian Arts Club, will have a hair salon on the ground floor, with cocktails and drinks served across the first and second floors.
It will be located on Lower Hillgate, with a secluded entrance on the cobbled streets of Coopers Brow.
Tom said that the bar will have a speakeasy theme, inspired by bars him and the band had visited around the world while on tour with the Blossoms.
Early 2023 has been pencilled in as opening date.
The venture joins an exciting area of Stockport, the Underbanks, that has been attracting some interesting and innovative local ventures.
The area already homes Top of the Town vintage, Nosura’s second project Rare Finds, Mid Century furniture shop 20th Century Stores, homeware store Squound, Emiko, which sells unisex clothing and the Old Town General Store to name but a few in an exciting and up-coming area.
Top of the Town Vintage, owned by Sophia Ramsay, is the second Blossoms-related venture on Underbanks.
Sophia is the fiance of Joe Donovan, who plays the Drums for the Blossoms.
The Blossoms have just wrapped up a tour of Ireland and the United Kingdom, following the release of well received ‘Ribbon Around the Bomb’.
Fair to say the tour has received an eclectic range of contributors, as they were joined onstage at the Brixton Academy show by Rick Astley and Spice Girls Mel C.
In Manchester The Courteeners frontman Liam Fray came on stage for an epic performance of ‘Not Nineteen Forever’ and ‘Please Don’t.
