New bar Box is set open soon, bringing Manchester a new spot to eat, drink, watch live sport, play and party all under one roof.

The national award-winning sports bar will open on Deansgate (opposite Spinningfields) at the end of November.

The 8000sqft venue will spread across two floors boasting over 20 screens to watch live sports matches, two 21-foot European Shuffleboard tables, plus apres-ski style live bands, DJs playing favourite floor-fillers, and bandeoke – giving guests the chance to take to the mike and join the house band on stage.

The ground floor will feature a spectacular island bar, surrounded by twenty top-of-the-range TV screens which can be seen from any seat in the venue.

Upstairs is a more relaxed and premium viewing experience, with booth-seating making it the ideal spot for parties and private viewings.

It’s not all about sports; live DJs and apres-ski style bands will bring the party every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. What’s more, every Thursday “bandeoke” makes guests the stars of the show as they take to the stage and perform with the live band.

When it comes to drinks, there’ll be beer tanks filled with fresh Budvar delivered directly from the Czech Republic, weekly.

Handcrafted Pornstar and Espresso Martinis are available on tap, plus the Box’s larger-than-life Cocktail Steins and four litre beer towers and shot boxes make for the perfect group drinks complete with some of the country’s finest craft beers, including some of Manchester’s own and a selection of cocktails, wines and fizz.

Completing the offer is a food menu inspired by world street foods.

Guests can enjoy pizzas made using double fermented dough, signature hand-formed burgers, marinated kebabs and Box platters complete with mini burgers, mozzarella fries, crispy popcorn chicken and BBQ ribs.

Box Manchester also boasts an outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy al fresco lunches and drinks in the sun right in the heart of the city.

Box marks the fourth Manchester opening from Arc Inspirations, following Banyan Corn Exchange, Banyan Spinningfields and smash hit Manahatta – which has lit up Deansgate since 2018.

“We’re delighted to finally be introducing our Box brand to Manchester for its much-anticipated launch,” says Arc Inspirations CEO Martin Wolstencroft.

“It’s exciting to be opening the doors next month to guests, especially after what’s been a challenging time for everyone.

“We’re confident the good folk of Manchester will enjoy BOX’s high-energy experience and overall, come to us for some great fun.

“The bar will also create 70 new local jobs for the local community, and we’re keen to hear from people interested in working in a fast-growing, dynamic company.”
