It’s been a year of upheaval for many businesses, with lots of workers still based at home, or at least working more flexibly.
But the office is still an important part of our working life, and for the many businesses that want to be based the city centre, Origin is proving a popular option.
Following a transformational refurbishment, Origin boasts 22 exclusive suites from 1,000 sq ft – 3,000 sq ft spread across six floors.
High spec fixtures and fittings as well as the very latest workplace technologies complement the stylish interior inspired by the roaring thirties.
The self-contained offices on Spring Gardens provide a space for companies to make their own, whilst the building offers amenities including a rooftop garden and basement gym.
The Club on the ground floor has hot-desking stations, meeting rooms and informal meeting space available to use, free of charge, which means occupiers don’t need to fit their offices with meeting space and have the option to break-out, if needed.
Following the first lockdown, architectural visualisation agency Our Studio moved into the space.
And a second national lockdown hasn’t put a stop to the award-winning building enticing a new business to move in just last week.
Compass Associates, a leading health, social care and life science recruitment consultancy, were eager to secure new premises for their expanding northern division.
“Origin provides Compass with the necessary growth space and facilities to expand the Manchester division and future proof our division for years to come,” said Said Adam Brenton, associate director at Compass.
“The roof terrace and gym will certainly get a lot of use and The Club on the ground floor provides an excellent space to meet regularly with candidates and clients.”
With just a handful of offices left, the building is filling up fast.
“We’re delighted that Adam and the team are moving into Origin,” said Rhys Evans from Avison Young, joint agents on the building.
“Compass were previously based at WeWork and we’ve been getting a good response of people moving from traditional co-working space into Origin.”
