The allotment is famed for creating divine vegan foods that are fresh, engaging and locally sourced.

There’s never been a better time to try either, as they currently have a great lunch deal, with 2 small plates and a hot drink for £12, Monday- Friday 12 -3pm.

Each dish is hand-crafted from the season’s best harvest and sourced from local and sustainable growers.

Some of the menu highlights include the Tofu Laksa, a Malaysian-inspired dish with coconut curry and chillies, ginger, lemongrass, coconut milk, traditional vegetables and courgette noodles served with rice and poppadoms.

Bánh mì and the jackfruit Tacos

Not to mention the Bánh mì Sandwich with marinated Tofu, pickled carrots and cucumber, fresh chilli, coriander and sriracha mayonnaise on a sourdough baguette served with salt and pepper potatoes and Asian style salad.

For those seeking a shared feast, the Allotment’s generous sharing platter is a must-try.

Brimming with culinary delights, this platter includes marinated tofu, cauliflower popcorn, tomato and oregano plant balls, soup of the day, tabbouleh, grilled vegetables, olives, sriracha mayonnaise, and crostini.

With such an array of flavours and textures, it offers a tantalising experience for the taste buds and is perfect for sharing with friends or loved ones.

Two of the most highly recommended dishes they serve are Cauliflower Wings, a secret recipe of the Allotment and also the jackfruit tacos, three tacos filled with tex mex braised jackfruit, served with guacamole, chipotle mayo and fresh pineapple salsa.
