Forget about London, Paris and Milan. The fashion spotlight will be focused on Manchester when the first ever Fashion Weekender launches in the city for the first time. Shoppers will be treated to fun, fashion and freebies at the brand new two day extravaganza in Manchester Arndale where Exchange Court will be the hub for the event.

During the weekend, Manchester Arndale will be offering a sneak peek at its brand new fashion video including the latest AW16 trends.

A giant Style Spinner game will offer shoppers the chance to ‘spin to win’ one of over 400 fashion prizes. Taking inspiration from the traditional fruit machine, the Style Spinner is made up of three large digital screens – simply press the button to spin the screens, and match three catwalk models from the same retailer to win a prize.

Discounts will be dished out to shoppers throughout the weekend with exclusive deals up for grabs at over 25 fashion retailers in the centre.

“Manchester is a city of great taste when it comes to fashion and our shoppers are constantly looking to pick up the latest trends,” says Sue Boor of Manchester Arndale.

“Manchester Fashion Weekender is all about rewarding this love for fashion – with exclusive offers, exciting prizes and make-up advice to complete the look. This is the first event of its kind in the city, so we hope to see shoppers heading down to the centre to see what it’s all about.”

The event is being held in partnership with international make-up brand KIKO MILANO, which recently opened a new store in Manchester Arndale. KIKO will be offering mini-makeovers with its MUA experts, plus goody bags to take home. And the first 600 shoppers to pre-register for Manchester Fashion Weekender will receive an exclusive KIKO MILANO gift worth over £15 to collect at the event.
