The local independent bar will be celebrating successfully navigating the tumultuous last ten years with a huge knees up.
On Thursday 24 th November, The Liquor Store will be throwing a monumental party to celebrate the incredible achievement of building the venue into one of the regions finest.
Manchester’s biggest media heads and celebrities are expected to mark the occasion at The Liquor Store with live music, a drinks menu of their greatest cocktails, an amazing BBQ and a DJ playing true Liquor Store tunes till well into the next day.
All this as well as being looked after by one of the cities greatest bar teams.

Liquor Store are asking for everyone to find their old pics and vids of Liquor Store nights out and share them on social media! Simply post with the hashtag #LiquorStoreMCRis10, tagging in @LiquorStoreMCR and if they use your pic/footage for the party you will get a ticket to this mega celebration!
10 years ago, on the 23rd November 2012, local lads Doug Waldron and Brett Collier launched the much-loved bar in a derelict part of Maybrook House, on the corner of Blackfriars Street and The Parsonage.
Little did they know at the time it was to become one of Manchester’s most popular city centre bars.
Famed for excellent cocktails, an amazing team and quality rock n roll tunes the liquor store has received a huge amount of praise from both the public and the press having won various awards and boasting some of the greatest on-line review rankings in Manchester.
Owner Doug Waldron said “I am extremely proud of what the whole team has built up since opening in 2012.
“The guys behind the bar have always been our strongest asset, throwing parties for everyone seven nights a week with awesome service, standards, drinks and music!

The big 10 th birthday party will be on Thursday 24 th November from 6.30pm featuring The Liquor Stores greatest cocktails from each year, live music, food by the wonderful guys at Ate days a Week, sponsored pop-up bars with complimentary cocktails, loads of memories of the last 10 years displayed for all to reminisce, former staff members back to do their bit and all the usual carnage that has made The Liquor Store everyone’s favourite night out.
