Manchester Arena has unveiled a new pre-show hospitality area in collaboration with Heineken: the Heineken Sky Lounge Bar.
Accessed via an unassuming office door at Arena Point on Hunts Bank and only available as an upgrade to ticket purchase, this over-18s area celebrates the arena’s partnership with Heineken and is an impressive pre-show space to entertain and have drinks before you take to your seats to enjoy the show.
With views of the city and access to Manchester Arena without having to step outside to face the elements, this speakeasy lounge will soon become your go-to pre-show haunt.
Expansive views are in the direction of the Cathedral, up Deansgate and towards the Irwell.
The new bar has a range of drinks available from bottles and draft beers and ciders to wines, cocktails and soft drinks.
Admission is currently priced at £15 as an upgrade to ticket option and must be done in advance of the show as there is limited availability.
“The Heineken Sky Lounge is a first class addition to our hospitality portfolio,” said James Allen, general manager of Manchester Arena.
“Working together with Heineken and Up North Architects, it’s great to see how a lacklustre conference room has been transformed into a sophisticated events space.”
The bar is strictly for the use of ticket holders attending a gig at Manchester Arena. It opens 30 minutes before doors open to the public and closes 10 minutes before the start of the main act.
