You know the Roxy Ball Room drill: great gaming, great beer, great food and great music.

And when Deansgate’s ultimate party venue reopens this weekend, they plan to do so in full Roxy style.

There’ll be some changes, of course, to comply with current safety guidelines. Bookings are for a maximum of six people for the time being, with enhanced cleaning, limited capacity, contactless payment, and table service only.

But that doesn’t mean you should expect it to be a quiet night. Far from it.

Open since 2017, Deansgate’s Roxy Ball Room has been the destination for many revellers over the years. It’s the ultimate adult playground, with multiple gaming options all under one roof.

Where else can you play pool on Sam K American pool tables and ping pong on Olympic standard butterfly tables, as well as have a go on the 18-hole mini golf course?

Not to mention the tournament standard shuffleboards, and the beer pong battle stations.

And then there’s the beer itself. Up to 18 draught lines, to be precise. Or just order a drinks package, such as 24 Red Stripe straight to the table.

Cocktail fans won’t want to miss the signature serves such as the Ping Star Martini, Baby Got Back-Spin, or Scared Shotless.

Or get straight to it with a round of shots. Peanut butter and jelly, maybe, or a JD Fireball if you can handle the heat.

And if you need to soak up the booze, get stuck into the crispy chicken and bacon nachos loaded with melted cheese and buttermilk dressing, a BBQ pulled pork burger with cracked pepper chips, or a spicy meatball pizza with fresh chilli.

Chicken wing fans can order five, 10 or a bucket of 20 with hot buffalo, South Carolina BBQ, buttermilk or sticky maple and BBQ sauce. Perfect for sharing. Or not.

Just a quiet one? Not a chance.

Roxy Ball Room opens on Saturday 1st August.
