Ever dreamed of dressing like a Shelby?

Now you can, while backing one of the UK’s most wonderful cancer charities.

A once-in-a-lifetime charity auction has just launched, giving fans of Peaky Blinders the chance to own original, screen-worn costumes from the show’s gripping final season.

From Tommy Shelby’s razor-sharp three-piece suit to Oswald Mosley’s sinister felt hat, each item carries a slice of television history, and every winning bid helps support The Christie Charity and its life-saving work with cancer patients.

The Christie Charity and Peaky Blinders

Running until Tuesday 20th May, the exclusive online sale is raising money for The Christie Charity, which supports cancer patients and life-changing research at The Christie, one of Europe’s leading cancer centres.

Curated by Omega Auctions, this is a brilliant chance to own a piece of television history, woven into the very fabric (quite literally) of one of the most stylish and culturally influential shows of the decade.

Among the showstoppers? One of the sleek suits worn by Cillian Murphy in the final moments of Peaky Blinders’ sixth and final season, complete with a handwritten script note tucked into the pocket: “Takes off ring.”

It’s a poignant memento from a series that gripped millions.

Also going under the hammer: a striking coat worn by the late, great Polly Gray in series three, designed with delicate stitched patterns and full of character; and a handmade fur felt hat, donned by the villainous Oswald Mosley in his chilling portrayal by Sam Claflin.

But that’s just the beginning. The auction catalogue reads like a Peaky Blinders treasure chest: embroidered scarves, velvet and lace flapper dresses, ladies’ shoes, flat caps, riding guards, leather jackets, and rows of waistcoats and ties that defined a generation of rebellious, turn-of-the-century swagger.

These iconic pieces come from the wardrobes created by the show’s original costume designer, Warrington-born Stephanie Collie, and later shaped by Alison McCosh, whose vision helped the show’s distinctive style evolve into something truly timeless. Their work not only defined the look of the Shelbys but inspired an entire fashion movement, so much so that even David Beckham launched a clothing line channeling the Peaky aesthetic.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” says Dan Muscatelli-Hampson, auction manager at Omega Auctions.

“These stunning pieces are genuine cultural artefacts. The craftsmanship, the history, the star power—it’s exceptional. And to be raising money for The Christie makes it all the more meaningful.”

Fans of the show will be pleased to know the auction arrives just ahead of the hotly anticipated Peaky Blinders feature film, written by creator Steven Knight and set to premiere later this year.

Star Cillian Murphy has long supported The Christie Charity, previously donating a coat and cap from earlier series to a fundraising ball back in 2019.

This new initiative builds on that generosity, promising to raise even more for an organisation close to the show’s heart.

Marie Toller, head of philanthropy at The Christie Charity

Marie Toller, head of philanthropy at The Christie Charity, adds: “We’re incredibly grateful to the Peaky Blinders team for this incredible gesture. It’s a dream come true for fans—and it will help us make a real difference for our patients.”

To round off the auction, a Peaky-themed celebration will take place at the Peaky Blinders Bar on Peter Street, Manchester, on Tuesday 20th May. Attendees can expect a stylish evening with reception drinks, a pay bar, and a curated display of the costumes up for grabs. Fans are encouraged to come dressed in their finest 1920s glam—flat caps, flapper dresses, and sharp suits welcome.

Tickets to the event are free and can be reserved via The Christie’s website. Costumes can be viewed and bids placed at Omega Auctions, where every hammer fall helps fund pioneering care and research at The Christie.

As far as fundraising auctions go, this one is the full package: drama, glamour, heart—and a little bit of Shelby grit.

So, whether you’re a collector, a cosplayer, or a Peaky die-hard who wants to wear your fandom on your sleeve (literally), don’t miss your chance to own a piece of the legend—and support an incredible cause while you’re at it.

Place your bids. Channel your inner Shelby. And, most importantly, help make a difference.
