Love your dog and sparkling wine?

Then what could be better than a Pooches and Prosecco cruise on the waterways of Manchester and Salford courtesy of Manchester River Cruises?

Ditch dry land and hop on board the Princess Katherine on a sightseeing tour with your four legged friend and you’ll get a free glass of bubbly just for bringing him (or her) on board. Yes, you read that correctly. A free glass of fizz.

Then sit back and enjoy the views of some of the top attractions along the waterways of Manchester and Salford. It’s a round trip from Salford Quays and takes 60 minutes. There’s a fully stocked bar on board serving teas, coffees or alcohol if you fancy something a little stronger. But don’t forget you are dog sitting. There are toilets on board.

Pooches & Prosecco is one of a number of themed cruises over the winter from Salford Quays with Manchester River Cruises.

Home to the Lowry Arts Theatre, BBC and Granada Studios, not to mention a whole host of bars and restaurants, Salford Quays has become a must-see on any list of places to visit in Greater Manchester.  It’s a perfect place to spend time with your beloved dog in tow.

The first Pooches and Prosecco cruise on board the Princess Katherine departs from Pier 8 (M50 3AZ) just by Pier 8 Restaurant underneath the Millennium Footbridge on 19th October.

Tickets cost £9.
