Liam Gallagher is to end his solo career and reform Oasis with brother Noel.

Or at least that’s what he claimed on Twitter last night.

The tweet, which was made around midnight, received 119,000 likes and over 6,000 replies.

The response was mixed and ranged from the ecstatic to the downright sceptical. Some thought it was a wind-up. Others thought he’d been over-indulging in the ‘cigarettes’ and alcohol.

The jury’s out on whether or not it will happen. But if the first four thousand replies are anything to go by, most people don’t think it will.

What about you?
