The team behind Manchester’s ever-popular Summer Beer Thing will be giving away 100 free beers at The Pilcrow pub tomorrow, Saturday 1st June.
They’ll be dishing out cans of their Red Willow Brewery Summer Beer Thing pale ale from 2pm to celebrate the festival’s return on 28th-30th June for a three-day celebration of the best beers that north – and beyond – has to offer.
And 25 cans will come with free tickets to the festival stuck to the bottom. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Kegs and casks of the 4.2% Citra and Mosaic pale ale will also be pouring all day long at The Pilcrow for the very first time.
Showcasing the very best beer styles from the north west (and beyond) brewery scene, there will be more than 200 beers lined up for the duration of the festival – with over 60 available to try at any time.
Grouped together in style categories, bars will be focused on pouring the best pale ales, IPAs, fruit, sour beers and more with an emphasis on freshness and perfect summer pairings.
And this year there will also be a cocktail bar courtesy of Bring & Mix serving bespoke cocktails – and maybe even a few cheeky beer concoctions.
To soak it all up there’ll be a selection of tasty street food operators over the weekend. So far they’ve announced that Margot’s Pizza and Vaso Kitchen will be in attendance, as well as more to be revealed closer to the date.
Just one can is available per customer and once they’re gone, they’re gone – so don’t leave it too late to get down to Sadler’s Yard or you might miss out.
