Manc rock ‘n’ roll star Liam Gallagher has announced he will play a huge homecoming gig in the summer at Heaton Park.
Liam will headline the massive outdoor gig on Friday June 12, ahead of the annual Parklife Festival weekend.
The former Oasis frontman had teased the homecoming gig on his official Instagram account on Tuesday, setting fans abuzz with when and where the concert might be.
Now the full details have been confirmed – and tickets will go on sale for the eagerly-anticipated gig on Friday, November 29th at 10am.
Liam, who has been having huge success with his new solo music, is no stranger to Heaton Park, having headlined Parklife on the Sunday night of the event in 2018.
His estranged brother Noel Gallagher headlined in the park on the Friday night before Parklife last year, so not to be outdone, Liam will be doing the honours for 2020.
Confirming the news on his Twitter account this morning, Liam wrote: “So if you haven’t heard I’m playing HEATON PARK 12th June 2020 I’ll be playing songs from my 2 no 1 solo albums and yes you guessed it some stone cold OASIS classics c’mon you know LG x”
