Whether you already fancy yourself a dab hand in the kitchen or feel that you’ve hit your Pot Noodle limit and could do with upping your skill set, a Thai cookery school is promising you hours of fun, flavour and festivity.

Held at fine dining Thai restaurant Chaophraya, a favourite destination for authentic Thai food for over a decade, classes are led by an experienced chef and focus on mastering the art of combining of sweet, sour, spicy and salty that has us Brits so enamoured with Thai cuisine.

On arrival you’ll be treated to a refreshing fruit punch before receiving a short introduction to well-known Thai ingredients by Chaophraya’s chef, as well as learning where you can source them for when it comes to stocking your pantry at home.

If you want to create an exceptional dish – and why wouldn’t you? – Thai food requires skilful preparation and a good understanding of how to combine the correct ingredients in the right order.

Led by Chaophraya’s knowledgeable chef, you’ll start by watching a short demonstration before trying your hand at cooking two signature Thai dishes.

You can use the classes to unlock the secrets of Thai cooking and impress your dinner party guests over the holiday season – or purchase a voucher as a gift for the budding home cook in your life. Classes are also available to book as a group for those who fancy taking on something a bit different together.

The session will end with a tasting session where you’ll be able to savour the delights of your cooking and marvel at your new-found mastery of Thai flavour.

Chaophraya also offer cocktail master classes for anyone who wants to have a go at playing mixologist for the day. You can join their expert bartenders to learn the art of mixing drinks before taking part in a little cocktail competition to put your skills to the test.
