Summer is on the way – and The Lawn Club in Spinningfields has designed the ultimate drink to enjoy whilst basking in the sun.

Pimms is the quintessential British summer drink with a rich history and tradition that spans almost 200 years, widely associated with tennis championship, Wimbledon, where guests sip Pimms and lemonade on Centre Court. 

Looking to encapsulate the Pimms experience, The Lawn Club has created The Pimms Welly Sharer – a summery mix of Pimms, lemonade, strawberries, cucumber, lemon, orange, mint, all served in a show-stopping welly boot. 

The Pimms Welly Sharer comes with four servings of Pimms, priced at £20. 

New for 2021, The Lawn Club has undergone extensive renovations, now adding a fully enclosed interior area, a weather proof destination perfect for cooler days and nights and outdoor terrace, with the popular Lawn Houses, Lawn Pods and deckchairs returning. 

Alongside the drinks menu of summer cocktails, craft beers and everything in between, The Lawn Club Bar & Kitchen will also serve a new food menu of burgers, bagels and bowls. 

The Lawn Club has also launched the Lawn Club To Go.

Situated on the side of the main building, Lawn Club To Go is open daily from 10am – 6pm for takeaway and alfresco coffees, teas, pastries and more.

The Lawn Pods provide a private space for groups of up to six, and the Lawn Houses, resembling mini greenhouses, also for groups of up to six guests – both the perfect settings for drinks with friends. 

The Lawn Pods and Houses can be booked in advance at no extra charge. A card authorisation for £30 will be required, only to be charged in the event of a no show.

Tables in the enclosed bar area are also bookable in advance, with a select few retained for walk-ins. 

The outside lawn area is also adorned with deck chairs, the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing spritz cocktail – or Pimms from a welly.
