Contemporary, music-led Latin American restaurant and bar MNKY HSE (Monkey House) will launch its second UK venue in Manchester in the autumn.
The brand will open on Lloyd Street in the city centre this September.
A day-to-night venue, MNKY HSE Manchester will bring the vibrant cuisine of Latin America to the city alongside a live music programme.
Mirroring huge success in London, the Manchester location will offer cocktails, an extensive wine list and diverse and engaging entertainment, say owners, as well as food.
Signature dishes include crunchy wagyu truffle taco, yellowfin tuna ceviche with caviar, Chilean sea bass and the ‘MNKY HSE Extravaganza Luxury Platter’, all designed for sharing.
As well as sushi, ceviche and soft and crunchy tacos, there will also be grilled meats and fish from the Robata grill.
Inside MNKY HSE, owners say guests will find a multi-sensory design and lighting experience creating a flawless rhythm that doesn’t miss a beat from day through to night-time.
The 102-cover restaurant will have a central bar, as well as an open kitchen and prominent DJ booth.
The award-winning MNKY HSE London launched to critical acclaim in the heart of Mayfair in 2016 and subsequently expanded across the Middle East.
The flagship restaurant has attracted a host of high-profile guests ranging from Nicole Scherzinger to Kate Moss.
“We are delighted to bring MNKY HSE to Manchester,” said MNKY HSE Manchester investor Tom Curle.
“The brand has already established a fantastic reputation in London and the Middle East as the place to be seen, whilst providing exceptional food and entertainment.”
Boris Kofman, MNKY HSE co-founder, added: “We are very excited to bring the MNKY HSE brand, energy and family to Manchester, adding to the growing number of exclusive brands coming to the city.
“Manchester was always on our radar in our expansion plans and we look forward to launching later this year.”
MNKY HSE will open on Lloyd Street in September 2022.
