Junkyard Golf Club is back at The Great Northern Warehouse, this time bigger, better and weirder and opening to the public on Friday (15th January 2016).

After a successful three week pop up in December, the crazy golf returns with two courses, Fred and Gertrude, with holes with names such as Tyre -Son-Fury, Dirty Laundry, Tiki as Putt and Glass Boned Pig.

Housed in Unit 5, Great Northern, Manchester, a space made famous by Friday Food Fight, Junkyard Golf Club is the dream of co-owner Bart who has a mad passion for crazy golf, putting his way across the Globe in places like Berlin and Florida Keys.

Bart Murphy said: “The three week pop up last year was so successful we wanted to bring it back bigger, better and weirder. We have two very different courses; Fred and Gertrude and we are also serving up some homemade hotdogs and nachos from my hot dog cart in association with Big Grille Style, and as always we have a tasty selection of golf named related cocktails, such as Fairway to Heaven and Dude, Where’s My Par.

“90 per cent of the holes are brand new and we have a second level on the mezzanine with a techno UV room as a tribute to Schwarzlicht mini golf in Berlin, Gnome Goal and my personal favourite, Witness the Fitness”

A round of golf costs £6 per person per course. Half the capacity will be reserved for walk-in parties but tickets can also be booked online in advance (booking fee applies).

Get tickets!

It’s open Tuesday to Wednesday: 4pm to 11pm, Fridays: 2pm to midnight; Saturdays: noon to midnight; and Sundays: noon to 10pm.

Kids are welcome until 7pm
