Fans can look forward to savouring signature dishes like jerk chicken, curried goat, and the hearty vegetarian Ital stew, all crafted with the traditional spices and ingredients that have made Jerk Junction a local sensation.

Simon Layton, Trafford Centre’s Centre Director, couldn’t be more thrilled: “Jerk Junction’s incredible Caribbean flavours not only enhance our dining offerings but also showcase our commitment to supporting local businesses. We’re excited to welcome Jake and his team this September!”

Founder Jake Shaffi shares the excitement: “The Trafford Centre is iconic, especially its food court.

“There’s a huge gap for authentic Jamaican food, and we’re proud to fill it!

“This new location is a significant milestone for us, positioning Jerk Junction alongside global brands and bringing the heat of Jamaican cuisine to a wider audience.

“We can’t wait to share our passion for authentic Caribbean food with new customers and continue our mission to make it more accessible across the UK.”

Their website says that they offer the best Caribbean food outside of the island.

“That means rice and peas, our famous jerk chicken, and longtime favourite curry goat, prepared daily in our on-site jerk house. And it’s always big portions and big love.”

Jerk Junction promises to serve up delicious, juicy spicy dishes, alongside the positive vibes – all put together in an original jerk drum.
