It’s A Rum Do At The Violet Hour – Didsbu

Our favourite Didsbury bar, the Violet Hour, is hosting a Ron Zacapa Rum cocktail and culinary evening tomorrow (Wednesday, November 27) at its stunning Burton Road hot-spot.
Join in the journey with Diageo Reserve Brands through Guatemala where three bespoke cocktails, each complimenting a specially tailored dish, will be accompanied by the history of the unique rum.
Its distinctive taste comes from virgin cane honey and is considered by many as one of the world’s best rums.
It hails from the town of Zacapa and is aged in a unique way at the renowned ‘House Above the Clouds’ in the volcanic plains of Retalhuleu, 350m above sea level in South Western Guatemala.
