King Street Townhouse, set in an impressive Italian renaissance building designed by local architect Edward Salomons and originally built in 1872, has opened its doors for monthly memberships following July’s renovation.

And the work done is hugely impressive.

The memberships will provide access to the urban spa, which includes four treatment rooms; thermal suite; Juniper heath Sauna; Lavender infused steam room; eucalyptus steam room; ice fountain; heated loungers.

The King Street Townhouse Gym & Spa is also home to an immune-boosting Himalayan salt cave, the only one of its kind in the UK, outside of London.

There will also be a treatment menu, including bespoke treatments exclusive to King Street Townhouse from leading skincare and wellness brands ESPA and Perricone MD.

For more than two decades, Perricone MD has been a holistic, three-tier skincare and wellness system.

This consists of diet, essential dietary supplements and potent topical skincare solutions backed by powerful ingredients, innovative research, and extensive clinical and consumer studies.

“We’re committed to providing our members with access to everything; from the best in-class equipment to industry-leading treatments and therapies that we offer in our spa as well as exclusive corporate rates across our hotel.

“We can take you from a workout to a working lunch, or a massage to an evening dinner.”

Members can also enhance their physical and mental wellbeing in the new state-of-the-art gym, which includes four specially designed workout zones – cardio, functional, strength and free weights.

Designed by award-winning EPR architects, the new facilities are part of the THG Experience portfolio.
