How many days until Christmas party season starts...?

I’m not going to scare you all by telling you how many shopping days there are to Christmas [I really don’t want to know either!] but even more scary is how many days until Christmas party season starts! A mere 42 days!

“Where to go? Who to invite? How much will it cost?”

Of course we have been planning our Christmas parties since January.. but it still send shivers down my spine to think we are only 6 weeks away [have we ordered the crackers? How many turkeys will we need? Who’s peeling all the spuds?]

Of course there are many of you who have other worries – Where to go? Who to invite? How much will it cost? Who will you snog under the mistletoe? We are lucky in Manchester to have so many restaurants from which you can choose – new ones, old ones and everything in between ones!

Christmas here at ABode we like to take some of the stress out of it for you – two restaurants to choose from and a dedicated Christmas co-ordinator to help make your party one to remember! We’ve had such a large amount of random requests – but no one has asked for their own Father Christmas – yet!

As well as helping organise Christmas parties for countless offices all across Manchester, I am also turning my attention to decorating the hotel! For me, decorating the Christmas tree has always been a real family affair, whack some Wham and some Cliff Richard, crack open a bottle of wine and try and leave Dad to try and untangle the lights!

Here at ABode it’s a bit more tricky.. two of our trees are 12feet tall! I think I will leave that to the professionals!

Next week our chefs will be talking autumnal recipes… until then… FFB!
