Faye Brookes Lowry

Former Coronation Street favourite Faye Brookes was in dazzling form as she joined star guests celebrating the stylish revamp of The Lowry Hotel’s restaurant and bar.

Actress Faye donned a figure-hugging black lace bodysuit by Manchester designer-to-the-stars Nadine Merabi as she walked the red carpet at the five star hotel on Thursday night.

The celeb haunt hotel is celebrating the first major revamp of its restaurant and bar spaces since opening on the banks of the River Irwell almost 20 years ago.

Faye was joined at the bash by fellow famous faces, including ex-Corrie star colleague Simon Gregson and his wife Emma and Emmerdale‘s Natalie Ann Jamieson.

Faye recently left Coronation Street after a dramatic few years playing Kate Connor.  She’s gearing up for her first stint in pantomime this Christmas, where she will be showcasing her incredible vocal skills that first made her a star on London’s West End stage.

Guests at the launch event tucked into samples of the new menu at The Lowry’s River Restaurant, created by head chef Dave Ashton, as well as an array of cocktails and champagne with live music throughout the night.

The main bar area at the hotel has been transformed, with designers Goddard Littlefair drawing inspiration from the hotel’s riverside setting, using calming tones of green and blue alongside warm notes of burnt orange, red and dusky pink.

Geometric shapes and patterns throughout mirror the design of Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava’s striking Trinity footbridge, whilst metallic detailing on the furniture and fittings give a nod to Manchester’s industrial past.
