Lots of us are missing restaurants right now – and Dishoom Manchester is near the top of the list for us. We love their Bombay comfort food. We love their breakfast.

And most of all, we love their incredible bacon naan rolls.

But now, you can get the much-missed café classic delivered to your door, thanks to a new meal kit. And you don’t need to live in the city centre, either, as the kits can now be dishoomed across the UK.

Serving two, the kits include smoked streaky bacon from Ramsay of Carluke (matured in the traditional Ayrshire way and smoked over applewood and beechwood chips), three naan doughballs (enough for two plus a spare for experimentation), tomato-chilli jam (Dishoom’s sweet, sharp, spicy signature sauce), fresh coriander and cream cheese.

The kit comes with full step-by-step cookery instructions, including the method for how to achieve pillowy-soft naan perfection at home. There’s also a video to help first-timers available online, if you need an extra helping hand.

Each kit also contains loose leaf Darjeeling tea and chai spices (black peppercorns, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, fresh ginger) for recreating Dishoom’s much-loved masala chai – you just need to add milk and sugar to brew.

Plus, for every bacon naan roll kit sold nationwide, Dishoom will donate a meal to Magic Breakfast, their long-term charity partner that provides free, nutritious meals to children that might otherwise go hungry.

And if you want to try more Dishoom recipes at home, you can check out their beautiful cookbook, which also includes the recipe for their epic black daal.

The Bacon Naan Roll Kits, priced at £16, are now available to order for nationwide, nominated day delivery across the UK mainland (excluding the Scottish Highlands). Deliveries can be booked up to one month in advance.
