Andy Johnson lives in Chorlton with his wife Jay, their Labrador/Collie cross Bosley, and five chickens, where he keeps plants and vegetables in a polytunnel in the garden.

The former BBC1 TV presenter started his gardening business, Dig Your Scene, because of his love of gardening and to benefit his mental and physical health.

He now shares films, including a series called Garden Time, for primary school children that he set up during the coronavirus pandemic as an interactive educational fun programme to occupy kids and give their carers a well-earned break.
