If you’ve always dreamt of celebrating your big day against the stunning backdrop of the Cheshire countryside, Peckforton Castle is the perfect location for your big day.

This enchanting and captivating country house is built in the style of a medieval castle and comes complete with turrets, a gatehouse, a portcullis and a dry moat.

It’s the perfect place to make any blushing bride – or groom – feel like a superstar and sure to leave you with a lifetime of memories to cherish.

With equal measures of elegance and sophistication, Peckforton Castle is steeped in history and an idyllic venue for both intimate celebrations or more grand affairs.

Work started on the castle in 1844 after John Tollemache purchased the 36,000 acres of sprawling green land where it’s located. It was built on such a grand scale that construction wasn’t completed until 1850, some six years later.

In 1952, the castle was granted Grade I listed status by English Heritage. Now it’s a spectacular hilltop destination that’s perfect for wedding receptions and business conferences.

In 2001 the castle became one of the government’s first venues to be licensed for civil ceremonies held by a traditional registry office.

Arrive through the mesmerising gatehouse lodge and up the sweeping drive as your fairy tale wedding awaits.

It has vast, stunning grounds, red sandstone walls, marble floors, vaulted dining rooms, open fires,  and over five licensed rooms to choose from, including the Hexagonal Suite, the Great Hall, the Drawing Room, the Wine Cellar and the Library.

With a dedicated wedding coordinator on hand to ensure your big day runs smoothly, this Instagram worthy castle can accommodate up to 160 guests, is perfect for everyone and provides superb photo opportunities for the wedding album.

And with the venue only ever booking one wedding per day, you don’t need to worry about anyone else getting in the way. The romantic atmosphere is all yours.

If you want to go the extra mile and have complete and total privacy for you and your guests, it’s also possible to arrange exclusive and uninterrupted use of all the grounds and facilities too.

The castle boasts a quaint and peaceful spa oasis, which includes relaxation rooms, hot tubs, a sauna, and rainforest showers, all run by qualified and experienced therapists using the highest quality brands and products such as Elemis and Jessica Deluxe.

Providing all the inspiration required for you to plan your nuptials, this highly sought after Cheshire wedding venue is hosting an exclusive Wedding Fayre event for brides-to-be on Sunday 3rd March, from 11am until 3pm and costs just £1 for admission.

It offers a brilliant opportunity to experience the castle for yourself first hand and meet the wedding coordinators and bridal wear designers – as well as having access to the wedding catwalks.

And with a number of fantastic deals and late-availability packages on offer for 2019, you’re one step closer to making your dream wedding a reality.

Book an appointment to meet Peckforton Castle’s wedding co-ordinators for a friendly, no obligation chat to discuss the options on offer.
