Cocktail creator and star bartender Neil Garner is bringing his drinks wizardry to bubble tea with the launch of Cherry’s Boba Shop – the first of its kind in Stockport.

Launching on Friday 1st July, Cherry’s Boba Shop promises to offer Stockport’s teens, families and a super sassy younger crowd the most Instagrammable and incredibly cool creations from the new location, right opposite Red Rock Cinema.

The wacky and wonderful Boba Tea creations have been designed by Neil and his crack team of cocktail megastars at Stockport cult-favourite bar, Cherry Jam – and the new shop offers an incredible 10,000 possible combinations of bubble tea and the widest range of flavours in the UK.

“The team behind Cherry Jam are inviting you to “fall in love with boba” with our award-winning cocktail ‘Cha-Tenders” mixing up delicious bubble tea cocktails and boba mocktails,” says Neil.

“We are so excited to introduce our incredible menu to Stockport’s families and teens – they have been created with the same flair as our cocktails and taste absolutely amazing.

“If Willy Wonka made boba tea, this shop would sell them all.

“What’s more, the shop itself is gorgeous and makes a great place to go for a pre or post-cinema treat for the town’s hip young crowd.”

Friday 1st July and Saturday 2nd July are expected to be wild with a promotion offering the first 50 Boba drinks for free to customers to celebrate the launch, on both days.

What’s more, in the spirit of Willy Wonka, Cherry’s Boba Shop will be kicking off their launch week with a social competition that will see two people win a golden ticket that entitles them to free bubble tea for a whole year.

Customers can also kick-start a “loyaltea” card and get a completely free Boba on their seventh visit.

The Bubble Tea menu includes strawberry shortcake, jasmine green tea, strawberry, golden shortbread and strawberry popping boba, mango cheesecake which fuses mango milk tea, short rad, mascarpone cream, mango popping boba and shortbread crumble, banana split – a delicious mix of banana milk tea, hazelnut and cream, topped with rainbow boba and hundreds & thousands, The Elvis – peanut butter jelly strawberry milk tea, and Minion banana bang – pineapple fruit tea, banana boba and minion banana jammie dodgers.

There are also some cocktail inspired sensational serves on the menu, including Cherry’s mojito – lime and mint fruit tea, fresh mint, cherry popping boba, and Popstar Marteani – passion fruit and vanilla fruit tea with passion fruit popping boba.

“My team has over 25 years of experience in drinks making and we’ve been working on the menu for over a year after trying out every boba shop in Manchester and London,” says Neil.

“We absolutely believe our drinks are the best of the best!

“Our Cha Tenders undergo a rigorous training program and know over 250 recipes by heart.

“We want to create a community of Boba lovers in Stockport and create the best looking, tastiest, fun drinks around.”

Cherry’s Boba Shop is located at Princes Chambers, 2 Brown Street, SK1 1RS and officially opens on 1st July.
